It’s been great seeing everyone after the holiday break. I’ve been hearing how the kids have been doing in their holiday concerts and performances.

We have once again gone back to some basics. I’m excited with how the older ones are now progressing through the group keys and are mastering all the scales and progressions. The way they’ve been going through the drills will serve them well in the long run.

The youngsters are all in their own learning curve as they go one through group two keys into minor scales! And the songs in the books have been great with guiding them through those changes and new things.

Now I’m looking for some classical songs and pop songs to potentially do an end of the school year recital.
