I just wanted to take this time to reflect on the past few years and express my gratitude towards God and the blessings he has bestowed upon me. I always have had a sense of peace when it came to teaching and working with both the kids and parents.

Ultimately, my main goal has always been to bring out the best in my students- working with their individual strengths and weaknesses to rise to new levels of understanding and skill. It’s a pleasure being able to work with such talent and dedication and with every recital I can look back and see how each and every one of them have progressed through the years.

The work I do is not just about showing up and going through a book. It is about finding out who each student is, what drives them, how do they learn, what do they like, what motivates them, and how I can come in and help them accomplish their goals.

I’m both excited and reflective today as the recitals are once again coming up for the holidays. The warm energy in the room really creates a light and glow in everyones hearts. Happy Thanksgiving to all and looking forward to the end of 2017.
